Metered!!!

The sound of the Meter Ticking
And a horrifying ride on the roads
Aur Ek Rupya chal Gaya Haath se
Ab aut aur kithna dhoor hai manzil

Chennai Auto's are not metered, every person from other states says this as a complaint. Bangalore, Hyderabad, Trivandrum or even Coimbatore and Trichy do use the meter while in chennai it is always FOR HIRE.

How horrible it is for a person who doesnt know the place, how can they accept a flat rate. I was thinking on these lines until a week back. The past 5 days in Blore have changed it all. They sure use the meters, but how do I know if this route is the shorter one or the longer one. I have commuted here for 5 days to the same place, each day in a different route. Which is the best one! kaun jaane.

Am I going to the right place, am not aware and neither am I able to recollect the last route I travelled in. In a silent road, whenever i hear the meter tick, huh iam losing more money and also confused as to how much more will I lose and will I ever reach.

Somehow knowing how much to spend b4 boarding does help. Chennai is still a heaven for commuters, bus auto alike.
